Jordan M. Jeansonne was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2010. After completing his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, Mr. Jeansonne went on to obtain his juris doctor from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, LA where he was selected a member of the Order of Barristers. Mr. Jeansonne began his legal career with a large New Orleans area law firm where his practice focused on defending wind insurance companies in property damage litigation arising from Hurricane Ike. He also litigated in several other practice areas including personal injury claims, property and casualty claims, construction defect claims, slip-and-fall actions, and auto accident cases. He also represented insurers involved in the complex Louisiana Road Home Litigation that stemmed from Hurricane Katrina. Mr. Jeansonne then went on to join another large New Orleans area firm where he most recently represented certain WYO-Program flood insurance carriers in property damage litigation arising from Hurricane Sandy. Mr. Jeansonne is now well-versed on the coverages afforded under the National Flood Insurance Program Standard Flood Insurance Policy (SFIP). In February 2015, Mr. Jeansonne was lead counsel in the first Hurricane Sandy flood trial where he obtained a very favorable judgment for his client in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Trenton Division. An aggressive litigator, especially involving property damage claims, Mr. Jeansonne also has extensive experience in single and multi-party mediations, arbitrations and settlement conferences in both Louisiana and New Jersey. With the unique perspective of having represented wind and flood insurance companies, Mr. Jeansonne now intends to use his litigation experience and extensive knowledge of the SFIP to the advantage of individual claimants.
Robert W. Tschirn was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2008. Starting his career in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, Mr. Tschirn practiced plaintiff work on behalf of the citizens of New Orleans, striving to maximize their recovery under both their homeowners policies and the bad faith insurance laws of the state of Louisiana. His practice expanded to include not only hurricane and natural disaster related claims but also fire damage claims, BP/Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill claims, and other insurance matters where he represented individuals who were unfairly treated as a result of the profit-motivated tactics of insurance companies in a wide array of circumstances. After spending more than five years striving to meet the rights of individuals - having successfully litigated a number of cases at the trial and appellate court levels - Mr. Tschirn then joined a large New Orleans area law firm representing flood insurance companies in Hurricane Sandy litigation, where he learned the coverage strictures of the Standard Flood Insurance Policy and the ins and outs of what claimants must produce to maximize their damage recovery. Now in a position to apply both his prior experience representing individual policyholders and recent knowledge gained from having represented insurance companies, Mr. Tschirn is prepared to put the full breadth of his knowledge, experience and abilities to work for you.
